About Me

Jonathan Page is the Senior Minister of the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church in Wellesley, Mass. A graduate of Harvard College and Yale Divinity School, Page served as the undergraduate chaplain at Harvard’s Memorial Church, as well as led congregations in Ames, Iowa and Houston, Texas. He has a passion for theology and its importance in our lives.

Page is the author of Ringing the Gotchnag: Two American Missionary Families in Turkey, 1855-1922 (Boston: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 2009). Page has written articles for the Houston Chronicle and appeared in the PBS special for Pride Month in 2022 True Colors. While in Iowa, he wrote regular columns in the Ames Tribune and the state-wide LGBT newspaper. In Houston Page founded and was the first president of the Faith Leaders Coalition, an organization of nearly fifty progressive faith leaders, to advocate for social justice. While at Harvard, Page co-led the Harvard Right to Serve Tour, a multi-state effort to overturn the military’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy.
